What is Zumba®?
Zumba.com describes it as," A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class."

What should i bring?
Wear comfortable clothes, smooth-soled shoes and bring lots of water! You may also like to bring a towel. Don't forget to bring your positive vibes too! For Zumba Toning classes, toning sticks are provided. For Strong By Zumba bring a (yoga) mat.
Who are the classes open to?
Men, Women & Children 13 years and over welcome. We're an inclusive bunch so you don't need to be a fitness or dance expert to take part.
Do i need to know how to dance?
No you don't have to have dance experience. The instructor leads you through each track with non-verbal cueing.

No Seriously, what if I'm super unco?
Our classes are all about having fun and getting moving! You may not click with the moves immediately (who does on their first class?) but after a few sessions you'll be very familiar with what the signals mean and be starting to get it. Some songs on the playlist stick around for months so even if half of the songs are new to you, there will certainly be ones you recognise and remember!
Most of us are too busy trying to get our moves right to notice whether you twirled in the opposite direction or not so don't worry! It's a high-energy session so if you miss one move, just pick up the next!

What is a Zumba® class like?
All of our classes will begin with 1-3 warm-up songs to get you ready for some of the faster paced tracks.
Depending on the total length of the class there will be a section of mixed intensity tracks and then 1-2 cool down songs. We usually dance right on through the class with very short water breaks - but you are always encouraged to sip water whenever you need it. The time flies by and there are lots of smiles along the way!
