Puna
Kia ora! I'm Puna and I love teaching Zumba. I have been involved in Maori performing arts, fitness and sports all of my life. I have tried many things and for me personally - Zumba works! I have seen lives change through Zumba for the better and I am proud to be an ambassador of the Zumba brand and philosophy. I completed the Basic 1 (B1) training in March 2010, and years on I have seen the Zumba family grow and thrive. I have taken classes in Zumba Kids, Toning and Sentao, and I currently teach Zumba Fitness. I started Team Azucar in 2013, and mentor and support the instructors in the team, whom are all an amazing support to me too! "I AM BECAUSE WE ARE - TEAM AZUCAR" Dance with Puna... |

Zumba TipsFeel the music and just let go!
Sure there are moves to adapt to but honestly the most freeing and beneficial thing you can do is to not care about anything or anyone else and let loose! |
Favourite RhythmSalsa and Samba - sorry was I supposed to pick one? Salsa because it has so many influences from Africa, Central and South Americas and of course New York where the Salsa movement started. Samba because it is hard out! And yes that's a bit of me: high energy and a real sweat up, I hear those drums and I go a bit crazy! xx
